I enjoy this place because the food is always fresh and I love their bag of ice it's a reasonable price

My fish tasted like it was cooked in old oil, really greasy fries. First & last time going. Im just gonna drive the extra miles to Pete's.

Great food at a great price!

Frozen fish patties and frozen fries. When we asked if they made great fish and chips the guy behind the window said he had never had them... He also didn't know what malt vinegar was... The windows, counter, tables, and walls are so dirty I don't know how they pass health inspections.

Only really ever been here during the summer and at the time bought Ice Cream, which was really nice. Customer Service is a bit confusing but have a decent attitude. overall average 4/5 experience

Have loved this brand since the original owner opened his store in downtown Chandler. The staff is very friendly & accommodating to their guests. This past time we went we had a larger order than usual & they were still great. We will continue to come to Pirate's at this location as well as others as we have been doing in the past.

This Place Is Not The Same Anymore 👎🏼 Always Get The Chicken & Chips And Both Had Been Changed. Nothing taste the same Anymore. Not even The Sauce .

Great fried shrimp at a great price

Awesome low prices and I was surprised at how good the food was! Great place all around. One of my favorites in the area.

Still open and still one of the best places for fish and chips. This place has been a family lunch staple for a good part of my life. Happy to get some great fast food through a drive through even with everything going on.

Some of the fish were overdone the shrimp was very dry but everything else was good and the customer service was great just need work on the food

It took forever today which almost made me late for work. The worker wasn't friendly. We also paid the 10 cents charge for extra sauce and then they told us to park and gave us our food only for us to discover that there was no extra sauce and we waited 15 minutes for food that was already starting to get soggy. I've never had such a bad experience here, I just don't know what happened with them today. Won't be going back any time soon. Just a waste of my time...

Comparable to Pete's Fish & Chips but will take card. They have a mom pop burger joint feel and the food is delicious. I love the fish & secret sauce.

Great food and better than Pete’s at times

Normally an okay place but now this place has really gone down the toilet. Bad customer service, extremely slow staff, the cook or the manager was just mean and doesn’t really care, the food was either under cooked or was tasting funny, the list could go on. Definitely would not recommend here at all! If you want something like this go to Pete’s.

Pirates Fish and Chips is seriously one of my favorite places to eat! Their prices are amazing and the food is so good!! If you go here, you need to get extra sauce!! It's unbelievable good, you will regret it if you don't get more!

I had a burger and a fish and chips. More granted I know what real fish and chips are supposed to be like from my time in New Zealand so take that into account. The burger was very average and had just the bare minimum on the pirate burger. No lettuce, or tomato. It was just a sub par burger. The fish was just a tiny square that felt like was taken out of the freezer and deep fried. No good battered fish like I expect from fish and chips. The chips were good and that was my saving grace there.

Food is almost always great. Most staff if awesome. There's a couple that have real special attitudes.

I ordered a fish sandwich and asked for it to have cheese, tartar sauce and pickles only. It had onions, ketchup and mustard. It was really greasy. I couldn't eat it and was in line for 12 minutes. I also asked for a small fry and a coleslaw. The coleslaw tasted sour and they didn't have my fries ready as she said she didnt enter that so I said never mind on the fries. Oh well. The pictures of how everything looks a little NOT Clean. Windows, vents....

I love that this location accepts debit cards, I never carry cash. The food is always hot and fresh and when I can my order in they always have it ready when I get there!

Good food, amazing prices! I am not a fan of cooked fish. But I love pirates fish and chips, shrimp and chips and even their burgers. Especially with the sauce! Staff has always been friendly. They may have a slight wait but its TOTALLY worth it!

Every once in a while I get a craving for Fish and Chips. What I like is their red sauce (like a watered down ketchup with hot sauce) that goes great with the fish. Their cole slaw is also good. I come to Pirates perhaps once a month for a drive through order. Never had a wrong order and for the most part they are friendly. I tried their cheeseburger once and it was very good because they add that red sauce to the burger. What I have noticed (and prompted me to write this review) was the slight decline in size and quality of the fish 'squares'. They seemed larger and thicker and there were not 'gouges' or gaps on the patties. Obviously the fish comes from their supplier so perhaps they switched vendors or are ordering a lower quality product. They fry it fine for what it is. In the past I would have given Pirates a 5 star rating however I am giving a 3 star rating because of the decline in fish quality. JH

This was my first time coming here. I have to say it was really good. The only con I have is I think the shrimp need a little bit more seasoning.

The shrimp was fillets, thin & long (looked like a chicken strip) & the fish was exactly like a McDonald's fish fillet...square & all!! Not good, threw it out!!

Food was good as always but establishment is in need of a good paint job. Hope the kitchen is in better shape than than outside. Health Department??

Love the 2pc fish n chips. When the weather is nice I will sit at their patio.

They take cards and their sauce still tastes spicy but the fish patties are these tiny little things. In addition the way they packaged the food, the sauces mostly spilled onto the food instead of remaining sealed in their containers. My wife and son really enjoyed their chicken strips though.

The food is really tasty and decently priced. The onion rings are great! The downside is that they have no indoor dining. That is the reason I gave them four stars instead of five. Just to mention, they do have several picnic tables with misters outside that are very nice when the weather is accommodating.

Meh. I was expecting much better food than what I got. It was decent but I won't be going back any time soon. I ordered the pirates super with 2 fish & 7 shrimp ... paid for that price But when I got back to work, they have me the regular meal ... 1 fish... 4 shrimp ... and how are shrimp long ? I was expecting a whole fried shrimp ... Not shrimp sticks . My drink was filled with so much ice , the soda was watered down almost by the time I got back to work. Fries were soggy. The sauces were the best part... sadly. Next time I'll just make sure to have cash & go to Pete's

The blue picnic tables were very dirty. The fries and sauce were good. The fish was dark, the crust did not taste great, and the fish texture was soft and wet (but the outside was dark). The staff was friendly though. Bummed about the fish though which is the main reason we went.

Was in the mmod for fish. So the wife and I stopped in. We ordered a 5 piece fish and chips. When it we got it.we asked for tarter sauce. Was told it was an extra charge. Opened the bag and found the fish was dry and the batter wasn't very good. Wil mot be back and can not recomend.

Been going to Pete's n Pirates fish n chips for years. Just love the food. Went with a friend and really enjoyed our fish dinner. Always good food n great service !

They are always busy, Great Fried Mushrooms, reasonable prices.

We were on d.t. and I was very disappointed with the service, I tried to fix my order at the speaker and there was no answer, I got to the window and I have to wait longer for them to get my order right. Not very happy today

Horrible. Waited in driveway for a long time. Place looked dingy. Piece of fish was exactly like the fish sticks in my freezer.

Good food but you can't sit and relax,to small of a place

Way better than Pete's Fish and Chips any day of the week! And I know a lot of people say they're basically the same thing but they're absolutely not! I still eat Pete's Fish and Chips every now and then when I'm not close to Pirates but if you like fish and chips it's more than worth it to go to Pirates fish and chips! :-)

Employees were very nice and polite. Outside seating or to go. Frozen fish patties actually tasted better than I expected. I probably won't become a regular but a quick bite to eat from time to time wouldn't be a bad thing.

Fast good food, wish they would go back to hand breaded shrimp. It was so much better, really miss it!

Fish and shrimp were made from processed food. Everything was over cooked and extremely dried out. Worst fish and shrimp I have ever tasted.
